West Orange Animal Shelter Gets Big Holiday Gift

Giving back for the holidays includes giving back to even our furriest of friends.

, a local copywriting firm, donated 10 percent of its October billings to the for the second year in a row.

October marks National Adopt a Shelter Pet month.

The business presented a $2,8000 check to the animal shelter in November.

"Thanks to our wonderful clients — who kept us busy all month long — we were able to beat last year’s $2,200 by nearly 30 percent," business owner Lisa Fahoury said in a statement.

"We are grateful for the tremendous time and energy the WOAWL volunteers dedicate to caring for local animals, and we’re delighted to be in a position to help support their adoption efforts."
