Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably heard by now that the West Orange Boys Soccer team completed an AMAZING post season and wound up winning the 2013 NJSIAA/Sports Authority Group 4 State Championship. They came into the post season a #15 seed and came out #1. [High five]
This is a huge accomplishment for the coaches, the players, the families, the fans, and maybe most importantly...the community.
WEST ORANGE HIGH SCHOOL IS #1 IN THE STATE!!
Now's the time to waive the flags, make some noise, pound our chests, and let everyone know about this accomplishment. This is OUR win. Now's the time to celebrate with your community, just like you would if the Giants or Jets won the Superbowl -- you don't know every fan, but you have an immediate connection to them.
So on this week where we reflect on the things we're thankful for, let's use this amazing story and accomplishment and make it OUR Superbowl.
