West Orange Brothers Leave Hospital After Violent Car Crash

After Larry and Michael Verducci got out of the hospital, they had one place in mind for their first stop: West Orange High School.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — After brothers Larry and Michael Verducci got out of the hospital, they had one place in mind for their first stop: West Orange High School.

Earlier this week, the Verducci brothers were released from the hospital following a violent car crash that took place in November, administrators in the West Orange Public School District reported.

The crash, which happened in the borough of Franklin, left both siblings with serious injuries. An online fundraiser to benefit the Verduccis garnered more than $25,000.

Shortly after the crash, the West Orange High School football team offered a poignant tribute to the brothers, dedicating the remainder of their season to their injured peers.

On Wednesday, the West Orange Public School District offered a welcome update on the Verducci brothers.

“Great news,” administrators reported. “Larry and Michael Verducci were released from the hospital this week and their first stop was of course West Orange High School. The boys wanted to give thanks for all the love and support they've received during their recovery.”
