Shafman, a West Orange resident, recently finished in 174th place at the 46th Annual “World Series of Poker” event, held at Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
For his win, Shafman will collect $40,433.

According to WSOP records, Shafman has earned a total of $51,114 from WSOP events in his career.
This year’s tournament – which attracts some of the most talented and high profile poker players in the world – is being held at Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
