WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange's coronavirus case count continues to rise, according to statistics released Friday.
Essex County released its latest case and death totals on Jan. 15, including data for West Orange. The county noted that its daily report may not match state or municipal totals (here's why).
West Orange has seen 2,994 cumulative COVID-19 cases, a 5.98 percent increase since last week. There have been 206 deaths linked to the disease in the city, which has 47,563 residents, according to the most recent estimate from the U.S. Census.
