WEST ORANGE, NJ — There are 117 cases of the new coronavirus in West Orange as of Monday morning. There is also a death linked to the illness, Essex County officials say.

Authorities released an updated COVID-19 patient count for the entire county as of 9 a.m. In West Orange, there were 117 cases, including a death linked to the disease. (See the county-wide chart below)

As of Monday afternoon, New Jersey had a total of 16,636 cases and 198 deaths linked to COVID-19, according to the state health department.
