West Orange Fire Injures Three On Maple Street
Two West Orange police officers suffered smoke inhalation during the fire on Sunday afternoon.

A home fire injured two West Orange police officers and the resident of a Maple Street residence on Sunday afternoon, authorities reported.
Officers Chris Behar and Sean Kelly suffered smoke inhalation during the incident, the West Orange Police Department stated.
Emergency responders transported them and the injured resident to St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.

“The officers who entered the burning house did so at some personal risk and their brave actions ensured the resident’s safety,” West Orange Police Chief James Abbott stated.
