West Orange Football Standouts To Play in Annual All-Star Game

Several West Orange high school football players have been tapped to play in the annual Paul Robeson High School All-Star Football Classic.

A number of West Orange high school football players have been tapped to play in an annual all-star football game, according to published reports.

Seven West Orange high school football players will be participating in the 22nd Annual Paul Robeson High School All-Star Football Classic, according to a report from NJ.com. Five of the participants are from West Orange High School and two are from Seton Hall Prep, the report said.

The seven football players include, defensive back Danielo Francois, who will be attending William Patterson University; Eric Oden, Muhlenberg College; Jarod Vyent, Fordham University; Shaquille Grosvenor, Garden City College; Javon Mason, Southern Connecticut State University; and Seton Hall Prep’s Ryan McSherry, Bucknell University; and Michael Blank, Muhlenberg College, according to NJ.com

The Paul Robeson Classic features the best high school football talent from Essex and Eastern Passaic counties versus teams from Morris, Sussex, Warren and Western Passaic counties.

The football game will take place on Tuesday, June 9, at 7 p.m. at Robeson Stadium, 215 North Clinton St. in East Orange, according to the report. Admission to the game is $7.
