West Orange High Student Braces For Leukemia Battle, Online Fundraiser Started
Can you help West Orange High senior Jimmy Tiernan in his fight against leukemia?
West Orange, NJ – Can you help a West Orange High senior with his fight against leukemia?
Jimmy Tiernan, a senior at West Orange High School, has recently been diagnosed with leukemia, according to school officials.
Tiernan’s friend, Paige Cooper, has set up an online fundraising campaign to help him and his family with upcoming treatments, which can be seen here.

In addition, orange “Team Jimmy” wristbands are available for $5 at Mark and Julie’s Ice Cream, 476 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange.
As of Monday, the campaign had raised more than $5,000 out of a $25,000 goal.

“Jimmy is always up for a good time and never fails to make you smile,” Cooper states on the fundraising website. “He is always looking on the bright side of things and I am hoping to return the favor by helping him and his family.”
