West Orange Juvenile Accused Of Attempted Burglary In Essex Fells
Essex Fells police carried out a search warrant at a home in West Orange.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Police charged a juvenile from West Orange with several criminal offenses in connection with an attempted home burglary that took place in Essex Fells, authorities announced Wednesday.
According to the Essex Fells Police Department, the burglary attempt took place on Devon Road around 5 a.m. on Oct. 13. The suspect(s) fled the scene before officers arrived.
After reviewing surveillance video footage and conducting an investigation, Essex Fells police carried out a search warrant at a home in West Orange on Wednesday, eventually charging a juvenile with criminal attempted burglary, receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit burglary.
