Missing West Orange Man Found: Police (UPDATE)

A West Orange man left his home and traveled to an appointment at another address in town, but he never arrived, police previously said.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — UPDATE: West Orange authorities have announced that Paul Geiger Jr. has been found. Our original article follows below.

West Orange police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing resident, Paul Geiger Jr.

According to a Friday alert from the West Orange Police Department, Geiger, 82, was last seen at 10:30 a.m. At that time, he left his residence in West Orange traveling to an appointment at another West Orange address but he never arrived, authorities said.

Police described Geiger as 6 feet 2 inches and 179 pounds, with a light skin complexion, a medium build and white hair. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, beige pants and a black baseball hat, and also wears glasses (see below photo).

According to police, Geiger was operating a four-door, black 2017 Hyundai Accent with NJ registration: G13JKS.

“While West Orange police are actively investigating to find Mr. Geiger, we are asking for the public’s assistance in locating him and returning him to his family,” authorities stated.
