New Jersey Man Killed In Crash On Kansas Interstate: Police

Damian Osborne was driving west on the Kansas Turnpike on Wednesday when the crash occurred. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

LEAVENWORTH COUNTY, KS — A West Orange man died Wednesday afternoon in a crash on Interstate 70 in Kansas, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Damian Osborne, 24, was driving a 2004 Buick Century west on the Kansas Turnpike when his vehicle left the road for an unknown reason and crashed into a sign pillar, according to a crash report.

The crash happened shortly before 12:40 p.m. near mile marker 208.6, police said. The crash site is located about 20 miles west of Kansas City.

Osborne was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, police said.
