West Orange Man Reported Missing, Last Seen In Newark: Police
West Orange authorities are asking for the public's help finding a 57-year-old man who went missing over the Labor Day weekend.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange authorities are asking for the public’s help finding a local man who went missing over the Labor Day weekend.
On Tuesday, the West Orange Police Department announced that Andre F. Dasilva, 57, of West Orange, was reported missing on Sept. 2. He was last seen at 4:24 p.m. on Sept. 1 on McWhorter and Ferry Streets in Newark, police said.
Police described Dasilva as 5 feet 11 inches and 204 pounds with a light skin complexion. He was last seen wearing light blue jeans, white sneakers and a grey and black pullover shirt with four buttons (see below photo).

Dasilva has ties to West Orange, the Ironbound Section of Newark and Queens Village, New York, police said.
“While the West Orange police are actively investigating to find Dasilva, we are asking for the public’s assistance in locating him and returning him to his family,” authorities said.
