West Orange resident Beverly McCambley - Patrick passed away on Aug. 7.

She was 77-years-old.

“Beverly E. McCambley – Patrick (McGarry) of West Orange, NJ, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015.

“Born in Orange, NJ, Beverly was a lifelong resident of West Orange. She was a second generation owner of McGarry’s Tavern in Orange, a local icon in town from 1945 – 2009. It was a very popular place for the Irish American Community as well as for people of all backgrounds. She was the proprietor for over 40 years, continuing the traditions of her family.

“Beverly was active in the community and a member of McGarry’s Ladies Auxiliary and the West Orange Elks Ladies Auxiliary.

“Surviving are her devoted children, Deborah Curry and John C. McCambley with his fiancé, Rosa Valencia; loving grandchildren, Danyel Daries, Dana and Matthew Mangrella; cherished great granddaughter, Jaclyn; cousin & great friend, Maureen Ameli.

“She was predeceased by her husbands, John B. McCambley and Neil Patrick; parents Cornelius and Katherine McGarry; sisters, Kathleen Wannamaker and Maureen Rosen; brothers, Neil and Jackie McGarry.”
