West Orange Orienteer Navigates Her Way to Championship
The 29-year-old West Orange native will compete for Team USA in the Nokia Tyres World Orienteering Championships in Sweeden.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — If you’re looking for directions in West Orange, just ask Kseniya Popova where to go.
The 29-year-old West Orange native will head off to compete for Team USA in the Nokia Tyres World Orienteering Championships in Stromstad-Tanum, Sweden, from Aug. 20 to 27.
This is Popova’s third consecutive year on the US World Orienteering Team, according to a news release. Popova, who trains with the Hudson Valley Orienteering Club, also works as a formulation chemist while not in competition.
