West Orange Police, Fire Statistics: See Recent Updates From Township

Check out some stats for parking tickets, traffic stops, arrests, building fires, car crashes, gas leaks, EMS calls and more in West Orange.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange officials shared some updated statistics from the police and fire departments at a recent town council meeting.

The town’s public information officer, Joe Fagan, shared data from the West Orange Police Department at the council’s July 23 meeting. The statistics covered the period from January to June (watch video footage below).

  • Parking Summonses – 1081
  • Motor Vehicle Stops – 701
  • Directed Patrols – 543
  • Arrests – 28

There were five use of force incidents under command review in June, the data showed. Previous totals included seven in May, four in April, four in March, three in February and four in January (article continues below).

Fagan also shared a slide that laid out some stats for the West Orange Fire Department, which were compiled from June 1 to June 30.
