Schools, libraries, and organizations across the country and around the world participated in this year's effort, supporting early literacy for young students. This year's theme was "Share the Love," and the book selection was "With Lots of Love" by Jenny Torres Sanchez, which tells the story of a young girl moving from Central America to the United States, and how she misses what she left behind, especially her abuela. A surprise is in store for Rocio when her abuela finds a way to send her a special birthday gift filled 'with lots of love."

In addition to reading the book, classrooms received activity guides.
