West Orange Public Schools Collecting Donated Items For Ukraine

West Orange Public Schools Are Collecting Items for the People of the Ukraine from 3/14 to 3/23

The West Orange Public Schools and Public Library will be collecting items from 3/14 – 3/23 for the people in the Ukraine who have relocated to Poland. The items including handwritten cards of support will be donated to the International Refugee Committee (IRC), which will be shipping the items to Poland in early April.

As of 3/14, there will be collection boxes located at each school and at the Public Library. The boxes at the schools can be easily identified as they will be wrapped in yellow and blue. There will be flyers adhered to them with a list of the items to be collected. Please only donate what is on the list including handwritten cards of support.

The WOHS students in charge of the collection are 10th graders: Dylan Schatell, Brooke Schenk, Liam Brosnan and Tanner Joroff. Please call 201-618-7444 with any questions.
