West Orange Residents Choose Drive-In Movie For Public Screening
Organizers took votes for what to show at the July 16 drive-in movie. There was a clear winner – a 1980s cult comedy classic.

Recently, the West Orange Recreation Department announced that it was taking votes for the film to be screened at a public drive-in movie on Saturday, July 16. When voting closed, there was a clear winner – 1980s cult comedy classic, “The Goonies.”

“The drive-in movie featuring ‘The Goonies’ will take place on Saturday, July 16 at in the West Orange High School parking lot. Vehicles will enter from the Pleasant Valley Way side of the campus and be directed to a parking spot. Gates will open at 7:45 p.m. and the movie will begin at approximately 8:45 p.m. Admission is $5 per car.”
