West Orange School Superintendent Tests Positive For Coronavirus
West Orange Superintendent Scott Cascone said he and a family member recently tested positive for COVID-19.
WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange School Superintendent Scott Cascone said he and a family member recently tested positive for COVID-19.
On Monday, Cascone wrote the following message to the community:
“As a trusted leader in this community, I felt it essential to inform you that both myself and a member of my family have recently tested positive for COVID-19. While I will be completing the quarantine period in its entirety at my home to ensure I do not spread this virus to others in my family or coworkers in the office and schools, I will be taking advantage of our remote options to supervise and continue to remain in control of the day-to-day.”

“I encourage everyone to get vaccinated, get their boosters, or get tested regularly. If you feel sick or have symptoms, stay home. It remains on all of us to each do our part to mitigate the spread of this virus and keep our community safe so we can get to our desired new normal. I thank you for your well wishes and support.”
