West Orange Schools’ New App Offers ‘Real Time Tracking Of Buses’

WEST ORANGE, NJ — The West Orange Public School District recently launched its “My Ride K-12” app for parents, guardians and students.
According to district administrators, the app – which is developed by Tyler Technologies – gives users “real-time” tracking of buses, updates on schedules and push notifications for any changes or delays.
The My Ride K-12 app is available for download at: www.woboe.org/bus.

“With the My Ride K-12 app, parents and students can now effortlessly stay informed about their school transportation schedules,” administrators said. “The app provides access to bus stop locations, routes, and pick-up times, utilizing vehicle GPS geolocation to display accurate bus arrivals each day. This advancement aims to streamline communication and significantly reduce support calls, ensuring a smoother and more efficient transportation experience for all.”
