West Orange Seeks Firefighters, Crossing Guards: How To Apply For The Job

WEST ORANGE, NJ — Want to become a firefighter or a crossing guard in West Orange? Here’s your chance.

The township recently issued two hiring calls on the municipal website. Here’s what to know:

FIREFIGHTERS

People interested in becoming a firefighter in West Orange can apply for the entry level exam online here.

Registration opened on July 1. The closing date for applications is Aug. 31.

CROSSING GUARDS

West Orange is also seeking crossing guard applicants, a township advisory states.
