West Orange Shows Pride in Education

Every school in the district participated in last week's Pride in Public Education Expo at Livingston Mall.

Sponsored by the Essex County Education Association and organized in West Orange by Pride Chairperson, Anita M. Crompton, students had a plethora of artwork and projects on display, and performed music and drama selections throughout the week.

On Friday, the West Orange High School Theater Department students performed excerpts from their upcoming production of "The Wiz."

The Wiz will be performed Thursday, March 15, Friday, March 16 and Saturday, March 17 at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, March 18 at 2 p.m. Tickets will be $10 in advance and $15 at the door. There will also be a special free senior citizen performance at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14.
