WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange town officials gave the public a sneak peak of its long-awaited skate park on Monday.
The long-awaited skate park project on Rose Terrace – financed by about $225,000 in town funding and bonds in 2010 – reportedly came about after more than 300 area youth presented West Orange officials with a petition asking for a safe space for skaters in the area to practice and hang out.
