West Orange Street Fair Draws Thousands to Downtown West Orange
One of the biggest events of the year, the 2023 street fair attracted thousands of visitors to the streets of West Orange.

One of the biggest events of the year in West Orange, the annual 2023 Street Fair attracted thousands of visitors to the streets of West Orange on June 3 to enjoy local crafters, food from local vendors, street performers, a classic car show, beer and wine garden, live music, free admission to the Thomas Edison Museum, and more.
“We were thrilled to welcome thousands of visitors for the return of the annual West Orange Street Fair,” said Downtown West Orange Alliance Executive Director Megan Brill. “It is always rewarding to see crowds enjoying themselves and to see all the hard work of our volunteers, who along with our sponsors and vendors, make this event possible.”

Vendors from throughout the tri-state area showcased their wares during the West Orange Street Fair. The event also featured dishes from local West Orange favorites Benji's Taqueria Mexican Grill, Puras Paletes, and NEW Downtown favorites Fat Daddyz and Yeshi’s Smoothies. The West Orange Street Fair was a hive of shopping activity, as thousands walked and browsed the many sites and unique attractions.
Kids of all ages were greeted by their favorite costumed characters, including a T-Rex, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Disney Princesses, Minions, and more. Games, face painting, crafts, and live music also added to the fun. During the event, adventurous individuals of all ages traversed the 24’ extreme rock-climbing wall, and a lively beer and wine garden entertained adults.

The Edison Classic Car Show also took West Orange by storm with a fleet of classic cars. Proceeds from the Classic Car Show will benefit the Friends of Thomas Edison National Historical Park to further preserve the Edison legacy. The Thomas Edison Museum also offered free admission the entire day.
The event was made possible by its loyal attendees and generous sponsors.
