West Orange Town Offices Closed For Columbus/Indigenous Peoples' Day
There will also be an Italian flag raising ceremony in West Orange on Oct. 4.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — Municipal offices in West Orange will be closed on Monday, Oct. 9 to commemorate Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples' Day.
As a nod to each holiday, the township will be shutting down its municipal buildings for the day. There will be regular trash or recycling pickup and a regular jitney schedule.
The week prior to Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples' Day, the Orange/West Orange UNICO will sponsor an Italian flag raising ceremony at Town Hall, 66 Main Street. It will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
