West Orange Water Main Break Stalls Traffic On Thursday Morning

A water main break in West Orange stalled Thursday morning traffic on Eagle Rock Avenue.

New Jersey American Water reported around 6 a.m. that the break took place near Calvin Terrace.

“This will cause traffic issues, and may take 12 hours to fix,” NJAW stated. Please drive carefully.”

“Please use caution and practice patience,” West Orange Township stated in a social media post at 4 a.m.

In a followup post at 6 a.m., the township stated that water would hopefully be restored by 11 a.m., but that road repair would take all day.
