Where To See A $4 Movie In West Orange For National Cinema Day 2023
Movie theaters across New Jersey are offering discounted tickets, including one in West Orange.
WEST ORANGE, NJ — National Cinema Day, an effort that started last year to get people back in movie theaters, is returning Sunday, Aug. 27 with a chance to see $4 movies at several locations across New Jersey – including West Orange.
About 30,000 screens in 3,000 locations are participating in the 2023 campaign. That includes AMC Dine-in Theatres Essex Green 9 at 495 Prospect Avenue in West Orange.

This is the second year for National Cinema Day, which is organized by the National Cinema Foundation, a nonprofit affiliate of the National Association of Theater Owners. Last year, more than 8 million people took part in the end-of-the-summer event.
