Wrong Is Wrong

A couple of years ago, several Commisioners  of the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission were convicted of using employees of the PVSC and equipment owned by the PVSC to make improvements and renovations on their {the Commissioners' } private homes. Some of the Commissioners admitted they did not pay anything for the labor or for the use of the equipment. So I ask, how does the staff at West Orange High School qualify for free labor for auto body work done by students? That facility and its staff are paid for by the taxpayers of West Orange. And some of those taxpayers are for -  profit auto body shops and garage owners and their employees and their suppliers and vendors. How is it fair and legal, that taxpayers are constantly forced to directly compete against their own tax dollars? It's not even discounted labor. No, it's FREE labor. Is there a difference between what occurred at the PVSC and teachers getting auto body work done for free at a taxpayer - owned facility? Teachers and administrators "qualify" for this opportunity how, because they're indigent? Do they qualify for free labor and free use of the equipment and facility because they have college degrees? There is no reasoned justification for this behavior. They are getting free labor at a taxpayer funded facility that is staffed by public employees. It doesn't matter where this type of behavior occurs, wrong is wrong.
