WESTWOOD, NJ — Westwood residents can take their shot at Broadway without leaving the borough this weekend.
Broadway Karaoke Night in the Park runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, September 5, on the bandstand lawn at Veterans Memorial Park, 49 Park Avenue.
The free, family-friendly evening welcomes singers of all skill levels. On-site karaoke sign-ups begin at 5:30 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis, and each participant will be entered into a drawing for theater tickets.
The night will close with a preview of Bergen County Players' production of Mel Brooks' The Producers.
Guests are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and picnic baskets. There is no rain date; residents should check the borough's notices page if weather becomes a concern.
