WESTWOOD, NJ — Car lovers will have plenty to check out in Westwood later this month, when the borough's annual car show rolls back into Veterans Memorial Park.
The 4th Annual Westwood Car Show is set for Sunday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, 50 Madison Avenue, in the parking lot behind the train station.
Spectators can attend for free, while the cost to show a vehicle is $25. Show vehicles must be at least 20 years old, and there will be no early registration or reserved spots this year. Instead, show spaces will be available on a first-come, first-park basis on the day of the event.
More than 25 trophies will be up for grabs, with new trophy categories planned for 2026. First- and second-place trophies will be awarded, along with Best of Show and the Mayor's Trophy. The Westwood Antique & Classic Car Club is also offering sponsorships for first- and second-place trophies. Spectator judging has been removed from this year's event.
DJ Nick Salsa will return by popular demand to provide music throughout the day. Food and drinks will also be available, beginning with breakfast and coffee in the morning. Burgers, hot dogs and soft drinks will be served for lunch.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Legion of Westwood, according to the Westwood Antique & Classic Car Club.
The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 11.
