Animal Rights Group To Protest At Just Pups Store
Pet Store Watchdogs will be at the chain's Emerson store beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Animals rights group will protest Wednesday at one of the only two Just Pups locations to remain open.
Pet Store Watchdogs will protest outside the Just Pups store in Emerson beginning at 5:30 p.m.; the store is located at 177 Kinderkamack Road.
The store’s Emerson and East Hanover locations are the only two that remain open. The Paramus Board of Health ordered the store closed after 67 puppies were found inside a van near the store last month.

The East Brunswick Town Council ordered the Just Pups there closed after the New Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals filed 267 complaints against the store. Three dead dogs were found in the store’s freezer.
