At Tonight's School Board Meeting: Talk of Washington School, Awards and More

The is scheduled to hold its monthly meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the high school. On the agenda, November students of the month will be recognized, as well as several students who became Eagle Scouts.

Teacher Dennis Covello, who will retire effective July 1, will also be recognized for his 36 years of service.

In addition to the agenda items, members of the Washington Township council are expected to attend Thursday's meeting to discuss drop off and pick up options at . For months, the topic of safety on Wayne Place, which is near the school, has come before the township council without resolution. Some believe sidewalks on Wayne Place are the answer while others think the school should have a drop-off loop. .

Council President Joseph D'Urso said he will be going to Thursday's meeting to bring the issue before the school board.
