CareOne at Valley Gets Highest Quality Rating

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services awarded the five-star rating to the Westwood facility

in Westwood has received a Five-Star Quality Rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). According to the organization, just 10 percent of nursing and rehabilitation centers in the U.S. receive such a distinction.

Five stars is the highest rating the CMS gives out. The rating system is meant to help those seeking health care and their family members and caregivers to decide which facility is right for them. It allows them to compare nursing and rehab facilities throughout the country.

Annual health inspections, staffing levels and quality measures determine each facility's rating.
