Your local blood center, Community Blood Services, is partnering with the Becton- Dickenson Corporation (BD) on a clinical study.
Your local blood center, Community Blood Services, is partnering with the Becton- Dickenson Corporation (BD) on a clinical study. This study will be focused on blood collection tubes produced by BD.
We need 160 healthy donors willing to come in to our donor room to donate 125 mL of blood which is equivalent to approximately 4.25 oz. Ourphlebotomists will collect 12 tubes of blood from one arm and then 12 tubes from the other arm. Each tube will hold 5 mL of blood. In return for your donation we will reimburse you up to $50.
To participate, you must be in good health (you will be asked questions about your health history to confirm your status) and sign an Informed Consent which will detail the purpose of the study as well as any potential risks to you. The donations will take place at our Montvale donor center, 102 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Montvale, NJ 07645.
