Edgewood Country Club to Host Inaugural Golf Kitchen

Edgewood Country Club, in partnership with Golf Kitchen magazine, will host the “Golf Kitchen | Edgewood Fine Dining Soirée and Golf Kitchen Culinary Excellence Awards,” a special fine dining and awards event on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at 7.00 pm. Created by Edgewood COO and General Manager Frank Benzakour, CCM, CCE, and Golf Kitchen Editor-in-Chief Diana DeLucia, the event will feature executive chefs and cuisine from some of the most prestigious golf and country clubs in the Northeast and Florida. Edgewood’s own Executive Chef, Anthony Villanueva, will serve as lead chef and program host, joined by executive chefs and teams from Sebonack Golf Club (Southampton, N.Y.), GlenArbor Golf Club (Bedford Hills, N.Y.), Westchester Country Club (Rye, N.Y.) and Addison Reserve Country Club (Delray Beach, Fla.)

“We are thrilled to collaborate with Golf Kitchen magazine’s Diana DeLucia in creating this extravagant event which will be truly in a class of its own, showcasing some of the very best cuisines the golf club industry offers,” said Benzakour.

In addition to learning about each club’s history and sampling their cuisine at an exclusive sit-down dinner, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the chefs at the opening party and closing dessert party. The opening party will feature three signature event cocktails, champagne, tapas, an oyster tasting and a carving station with Iberico ham from Spain. There will also be silent and live auctions sponsored by Grand Stand Sports to benefit St Jude Hospital, and the first-ever Golf Kitchen Culinary Excellence Award presentations.
