ALLENDALE WOMENS CLUB ANNUAL FASHION SHOW

UNDER CONSTRUCTION:  Allendale Woman’s Club Spring Fashion Show in the Works!     

The Allendale Woman’s Club has announced that Rebuilding Together Bergen County will be the primary beneficiary of next spring’s fashion show fundraiser: Fashion Fix-Up.  The popular annual event will take place on Wednesday, April 4^th at 6:30 p.m. at Seasons in Washington Township. The evening will feature a lavish cocktail reception and gourmet dinner, gift basket raffles and a fashion show presented by BackSwing Sporty Boutique and Bliss Bridal Boutique and Special Occasion, both located in Allendale.

Rebuilding Together Bergen County is a non-profit organization committed to providing critical repairs to the homes of low- income Americans, including senior citizens, veterans, the disabled and those displaced by natural disaster. 

The mission of rejuvenating community and strengthening home life through creating safe and comfortable homes resonates with members of The Allendale Woman’s Club.  The club has an active “Homelife” committee dedicated to assisting friends and neighbors in times of need and has seen first-hand how a small act of support can go a long way.  True to their style of combining fun and friendship to serve the community, the Allendale Woman’s Club looks forward to building a fashion show event that will help Rebuilding Together Bergen County make a difference in our own neighborhoods.

Said event co-chair Lynn Novak, ““It's a perfect opportunity for women to have a great night out while they're showing support for a cause that revolves around a basic human need.  Women especially understand how a safe home is more than just a shelter.  We're looking forward to putting the spotlight on "Rebuilding Together Bergen County" as we put together our spring fashion show. 

Fashion sub-committee chairs Kristen Tsarnas and Maria Djuric are thrilled to gain the support of local Allendale shop owners Terri Shedler of BackSwing Sporty Boutique and Victoria Digiulio of Bliss Bridal Boutique and Special Occasion in creating the runway show. “It’s truly a case of neighbor helping neighbor. We are excited to be able to bring attention to these fabulous shops both located right here on West Allendale Avenue,” said Kristen Tsarnas.

As the primary beneficiary of the fundraiser, Rebuilding Together Bergen County will receive 50% of the proceeds, with the remaining funds to be designated to assist other local charities and organizations. For additional information, please visit
