Herrat Sommerhoff Art Exhibit

During the month of September, the Township of Washington Library will be presenting an art exhibit of Ms. Herrat Sommerhoff. It will be held in the Program Room.

Ms. Sommerhoff employs unique ideas and materials for her art. Tiles, broken glass, beads, and other items are used to create mosaics. Ceramics, wood, and an array of other materials are used to create collages.

Ms. Sommerhoff emigrated to the United States with hopes of furthering her education. She attended Bergen Community College, the Art Students' League of New York, and the Art Center of Northern New Jersey.
