 Pascack Art Association Welcomes Hudson Valley Artist

Paul W. Mc Cormack To Demonstrate at February Meeting Open to the Public

 -Artist Paul W. McCormack, of McCormack Studios in the Hudson Valley, who is best known for his oil and watercolor portraits, will lecture and demonstrate at Pascack Art Association’s February meeting which is open to the public on Tuesday, February 14 at 7:30 PM.

McCormack has been on the faculties of the New Jersey Center for the Visual Arts, the Somerset Art Association, and the Newark Museum.  He has also conducted workshop intensives at notable institutions, including the Andreeva Portrait Academy, the Bay Area Classical Arts Atelier, and the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art and is currently teaching classes and workshops in his private studio located in the Hudson Valley region of New York State.

McCormack has exhibited widely with various establishments and  

has been the recipient of many awards, including: "The Mary Bryan Medal Award for Watercolor" - Allied Artists of America 96th Annual Exhibition, NYC; “Paul Strisik, NA, Memorial award for Excellence” - Hudson Valley Art Association 69th Annual Exhibition, Salmagundi Club, NYC and “First Place in Portraiture”- “The Artists Magazine”, 1998 competition. His paintings and articles on portraiture have been published in some of America’s leading art magazines and books.
