Learn Feltmaking at the YJCC

Even if you don't think you are "creative" or "artsy," you'll enjoy this felting party! Felting is a craft that is easy, magical and fun. You'll learn the basics and complete a project under the guidance of studio fiber artist Linda Brooks Hirschman, whose works have been shown in museums and galleries across the country. Her fiber workshops are unconventional, with lots of experimentation, rule-breaking and humor.

There are two opportunities to learn feltmaking: Friday, March 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or Sunday, March 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The cost for either workshop is $75 for YJCC members and $95 for non-members. All materials will be provided.

The YJCC is located at 605 Pascack Road, Township of Washington. For more information, contact Jill Brown at (201) 666-6610, ext. 5812 or jbrown@yjcc.org.
