Operation Take Back NJ in Washington Township

The Washington Township Police Department is participating in Operation Take Back NJ, a statewide program that safely disposes of unwanted or expired prescription medication.

Residents can bring their unwanted medication to police headquarters Saturday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The goal of the program is to keep prescription medicine away from those who may use them incorrectly. The township has collected more than 100 pounds of prescription medication in the past.
