The Township of Washington Library is showing an art exhibit, titled "A Gift of Art," by Sandy Philips in the program room for the month of December. Ms. Philips is an award winning artist and works in the mediums of acrylic paintings and pencil drawings. Her numerous juried exhibitions and awards include Art in the Park, The Stable in Ridgewood, Artist of the Year from the Hudson Artists' annual art show and the High Achievement award from the Pascack Art Association.
A resident of Township of Washington, Ms. Philips credits much of her success and inspiration to the love and encouragement of her husband and her parents. She says
that "A Gift of Art" expresses her gratitude of having been blessed with artistic talent and she hopes to share her love of art and inspired others.
