Township of Washington Family Festival

The Township of Washington Family Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Memorial Field with a rain date of Sunday, Oct. 2.

The festival will include music, food and beverages from local businesses, children's activities, crafts, family games, rides, prizes, give-a-ways and entertainment by a variety of performers.

Admission is free. Food vendors will offer specialty foods for 50 cents and $1. Hamburgers and hot dogs will cost 50 cents each. There will be bouncy rides for younger
children and laser tag and a rock climbing wall for the older children for an all-day fee of $5.

There will be a fire prevention area; the police department will offer fingerprinting, picture taking, and a K-9 police dog demonstration; and the ambulance corps will have health information available.

The Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Golden Seniors, Contemporary
Woman's Club, Knights of Columbus and other organizations will be participating.
