Washington Twp. Christmas Tree and Menorah Lighting

The Township will conduct its annual Christmas Tree and Menorah lighting at the Town Hall on Sunday, December
11, starting at 5 p.m. The program will begin in the Library parking lot and the adjacent area of Finnerty Place. Hot dogs, popcorn, and hot and cold beverages will be served.
Boy Scouts will be on hand to distribute Santa hats, glow sticks, and other items for the children. Christmas carols and other traditional songs will be lead by Garrett and
Alianna Eucker, Jim Dugan, and the Girl Scouts. In the spirit of giving, all are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy for the PBA 206 Toys for Tots program. It would be nice to fill the box with toys for the needy.
After the Fire Department delivers Santa Clause on his Big Fire Truck Sleigh, accompanied by two special floats, everyone will proceed to Veterans Park to join in the count down to light the Christmas Tree and the Menorah. Following the lighting all are invited to say hello and take pictures with Santa and his good friend, Rudolph the Red-
nosed Reindeer. Come join your neighbors in welcoming this special time of year.
