The Westwood Library will be celebrating the literary works of Jane Austen throughout the month of October. One of Jane's more popular works, "Sense and Sensibilty", has been in print nearly 200 years, and will be the focus of a few of the events at the library.
Starting on Monday, October 17 at 7:30 pm, Sense and Sensibility will be discussed by the Jane Austen book Group.
On Thursday October 20, at 6:30 pm, there will be a viewing of 1995's Sense and Sensibilty, starring Emma Thompson.

On Sunday, October 23 at 3:00 pm, Tricia Chambers will present a literary performance by Jane Austen.
And on Monday, October 24 at 6:00 pm, get involved in a skype chat with best selling author Adiana Trigiani.

There will also be a presentation by the Metropolitan Chapter of the Old Lacers, Inc. on the art of lace making, a popular activity in Jane Austens time. The demonstration will occur on Wednesday October 5 at 1:00 pm, and Sunday October 23 at 2:00 pm.
