Award-winning local writer from Township of Washington, Kathleen Gerard, author of the recently released novel, IN TRANSIT, will be appearing along with 100+ NJ-area writers at BOOKS-NJ-2011, "a celebration of books and the readers who love them."
Kathleen will be at the event promoting (selling & signing copies of) IN TRANSIT, which recently won the 2011 NY BOOK FESTIVAL - "Best Romantic Fiction" category.
Kathleen along with novelists Lisa Dale (SLOW DANCING ON PRICE'S PIER), Carol Hoenig (WITHOUT GRACE) and Ellen Meister, whose novel THE OTHER LIFE was just optioned by HBO pictures, will be discussing The Art of Novel on a panel subtitled, "Defining Women: No Stereotypes Here" (Tent 1 from 3:25-4:15 pm).

Throughout the afternoon, there will be a host of author book signings, panel discussions, refreshments and many other book and writing-related events. Mary Higgins Clark, Best-Selling Author and Bergen County Resident, will also receive the first ever BCCLS Lifetime Achievement Award.
