Free Vision Screening For Pascack Valley Residents

Appointments are required for the free screenings in Washington Township.

Pascack Valley residents will be able to get their eyes checked out for free this month.

The Washington Township Health Department, Passaic County Board of Social Services and the HackensackUMC Health Awareness Regional Program are hosting the screening in the August 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

The program is open to any Pascack Valley resident, regardless of age. Health insurance is not required, though families with insurance are welcome.

Help with follow-up services will also be available, including for those who do not have insurance.

To make an appointment, call the Washington Township Health Department at (201) 666-8512. The Jack Wood Senior Center is located in the at 350 Hudson Ave.
