Governor Christie Nominates Hillsdale Man For State Board

Kenneth Scher will help establish standards as a member of the state Orthotics and Prosthetics Board of Examiners.

HILLSDALE, N.J. — Governor Christie nominated a borough resident Monday to serve on the state Orthotics and Prosthetics Board of Examiners.

If his appointment is confirmed, Kenneth Scher will, as a member of the board, help establish standards, guidelines, and procedures for the completion of internships, create basic requirements for continuing education, and evaluate the qualifications of all applicants for potential licensure.

Scher's nomination is subject to the advice and consent of the state Senate.
