Hand & Stone Grand Opening in Emerson

Brothers Jeff and Ken Silbert held a ribbon cutting ceremony for their massage and facial spa, Hand & Stone, in Emerson Thursday at 11 a.m. Emerson Mayor Carlos Colina attended the grand opening.

Hand & Stone, 494 Kinderkamack Rd., Emerson, is the first Bergen County location for this spa franchise. The spa is in the Pascack Valley Shopping Center, near Stop & Shop and Marshall's.

The Silbert's signed a 10-unit development deal with Hand & Stone about one year ago. They plan on opening all 10 in North Jersey. The Emerson location is the brothers' first opening. Next month, they'll open their second Hand & Stone in Aberdeen.

Both Jeff and Ken come from backgrounds in business. Jeff runs his own advisory firm for business owners in North Jersey. Ken was a senior managing partner with Accenture. They hope their combined business experiences will develop Hand & Stone to its fullest potential.
