The first snow storm of the season blanketed North Jersey with snow and ice.
WESTWOOD, NJ — The first nor'easter of the fall/winter season fell on Thursday and blanketed North Jersey with snow and ice and left roads a mess.
Westwood got 7.8 inches of snow.

- Franklin Lakes - 7.2 inches
- Washington Township - 6.9 inches
- Ridgewood - 6.7 inches
- Park Ridge - 6.5 inches
- North Arlington - 6 inches
Roads were wet and slick Friday after more snow and sleet fell overnight.
